Laser Therapy

Basic Principles of Laser Therapy:

Laser therapy: “photobiomodulation (PBM) effect” refers to the treatment effect achieved by using specific wavelengths of light exposure. Its main functions include promoting blood circulation, enhancing metabolic capacity, increasing the activity of red blood cells, accelerating ATP generation, and improving vitality (improving circulation, reducing inflammation, relieving pain, and promoting wound healing).

650nm – Facilitates wound healing, relieves pain, reduces inflammation, and promotes cell regeneration, commonly used in photodynamic therapy (PDT).

810nm – Increases ATP generation and is highly absorbed by melanin.

915/905nm – Increases ATP generation, accelerates hemostasis, relieves pain, and enhances therapeutic effects, with deep tissue penetration.

980nm – Improves circulation, provides pain relief, reduces the incidence of disease, and promotes rapid tissue repair. This wavelength is well absorbed by water, converting to heat energy and supplying cells.

1064nm – Highly absorbed by water and melanin, allowing for deep penetration, rapid pain relief, and activation of deep tissues.
