Laser Veterinary Therapy

Veterinary laser therapy:

“photobiomodulation (PBM) effect” refers to the treatment effect achieved by using specific wavelengths of light exposure.

The laser targets the painful area on the surface, and penetrates into the deep issue, and is absorbed by the tissue at the specific wavelength, thereby stimulating physiological responses in the body, promoting blood circulation, enhancing metabolism, increasing the activity of red blood cells, accelerating ATP generation, and improving vitality (improving circulation, reducing inflammation, relieving pain, and promoting wound healing). This technology is increasingly being adopted by hospitals’ rehabilitation departments, sports training facilities, laboratories, universities, and animal hospitals.

Low -level laser therapy LLLT: the average power is not over 500mW;

High -intensity laser therapy HILT: The average power is more than 500mW.

Different pulse frequencies can cause different physiological reactions. For example, lower pulse frequencies and continuous waves have better regulation of pain, while higher frequencies have more anti -inflammatory effects. Therefore, it is important to select the appropriate pulse frequency to treat different types of tissue such as muscle, connective tissue or bone.

Intense Super Pulse (ISP) is another laser transmission mode, which aids in better skin penetration and reduces the thermal absorption by epidermal pigmented tissue. Laser working in the super pulse mode provides a very high peak power in a short time. Incorporating specific pulse frequencies into treatment plans for some diseases can enhance the therapeutic effects.
